The Nights of Neon

Events Management
This project is one of the largest paint splash events conducted annually at Scheveningen among youngsters. The production, décor, artists, dancers, acts, venue, lights, sounds, promotion and everything else is always at a top-level. The project launch happened in 2014, where we managed to host more than 2.000 people.

Together with other members of IIAM organisation, I supported the sales and brand awareness strategy. I am proud of the digital campaign we launched a couple of months before the event. It helped us to acquire 30% of total guests on the actual day of the event. The campaign was called ‘Awaken Your Knight” and included a photoshoot of crew members splash painted as different Neon Knights.

On the actual event, I managed operational activities such e.g. catering, photographers and video crew. It’s not a secret to anyone that managing events can be hectic on all fronts, which makes this experience a great school of project management.
